Rollercoaster Paintings

Biography

Welcome to my Web Page of Rollercoaster Paintings.  I am Ann Wassink, born in Belgium in 1977 in Hasselt and living in Kortessem, together with my partner, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Since childhood, I have been passionate about drawing and painting. So after my studies, which had absolutely nothing to do with my creativity, I took a painting course. After a year’s trial period at a painting company, I decided to develop myself and use my creativity differently. I became an independent decorative painter in 2001, specializing in old paint techniques, color advice and making custom-made colors myself. This gave me the opportunity to do prestigious projects all over the world, from Japan to Australia, New Zealand, America and, of course, Europe. And when I have free time, I usually spend it in making all kind of paintings in my home studio.

How did It start?

When my partner was on a Rollercoaster trip in the USA, I made for his 50th Birthday a rollercoaster painting, based on Vortex, the old multi looper in Kings Island. The reactions he got on his painting were overwhelming, and suddenly he came up with the idea, why not combine my hobby with your hobby and start painting rollercoasters? And so it happened. You can find the result of 2 years painting below.

My Paintings

Below you can find my first collection ever of Rollercoaster Paintings made of original existing rollercoasters in the world. All paintings are arty reflections but are still recognizable as a real existing rollercoaster on this wonderful planet.
